Biffle Book Box was created from a simple belief: books have the power to bring people together!

What started as a passion project fueled by a love of reading quickly became something much bigger—a community built around friendship, representation, and a shared love of stories. As a lifelong reader, I often found myself searching for books and authors who deserved more recognition, especially indie authors and creators from underrepresented communities. I wanted to create a space where those voices could be celebrated and where readers could discover stories they may have otherwise missed.

As a proud Puerto Rican and Hispanic woman-owned business, diversity has always been at the heart of what we do. We are passionate about spotlighting independent authors and uplifting BIPOC, LGBTQ+, and diverse voices across the romance, dark romance, fantasy, and romantasy genres. We believe everyone deserves to see themselves reflected in the stories they read and to experience perspectives different from their own.

The name "Biffle" comes from "Best Friend for Life," and that's exactly how we view our community. Whether you've purchased one box, attended one event, or have been with us since the beginning, you're part of our book-loving family. Our goal has never been to simply sell books—it has always been about creating connections between readers, authors, and the stories that stay with us long after the final page.

Over the years, we've evolved from a book box company into something that more closely reflects our original dream: becoming a bookstore built for our Biffles. While our curated boxes will always be a special part of our story, our focus continues to grow toward bringing incredible books directly to readers through events, exclusive editions, and community experiences.
